CYPRUS. Paphos. Stasandros, second half of 5th century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 13 mm, 2.69 g, 2 h). Bull standing left; above, winged solar disk; to left, ankh-like symbol. Rev. 𐠞𐠨 ('pa sa' in Cypriot syllabic script) Eagle standing left with closed wings; behind, olive spray; to lower left, annulet. BMC -. Tziambazis -. Zapiti & Michaelidou 9. Extremely rare in this denomination. Good very fine.

At 2.69 g, this extremely rare coin cannot possibly be a third stater, as Zapiti & Michaelidou say. It must be a hemidrachm on the regular Cypriote stater or didrachm of around 11 g.
